Current author guidance

The journal welcomes research papers, review articles and case studies. Consult the editorial office for current formatting requirements before submitting.

Provide the proposed book title with a chapter manuscript or edited-volume proposal. Each call may specify separate requirements.

What does the journal publish?

Research papers, review articles and case studies covering IR theory, foreign policy, diplomacy, security, geopolitics, international law and global governance. Manuscripts are peer-reviewed before publication.

What should I prepare?

A title, abstract, keywords, word count, author details and your manuscript with references. This portal accepts PDF, DOC and DOCX files up to 10 MB. These upload limits are portal requirements; confirm journal-specific formatting with the editors at info@jaironline.com.

How do edited-book submissions work?

Use the book pathway for chapter manuscripts or volume proposals, stating the proposed book title. Proposals are subject to editorial interest and are not a promise of publication. Specific calls may have separate requirements.
